Positive Waves - Hearty Walk

Congratulations and a BIG Thank you to all those who took part on our

Positive Waves - St Valentine’s Day Walk.

So far we have raised in excess of £600 with generous donations still coming in. Whilst also raising the profile of Birthing Link and increasing the option of health and well being to our local community. All donations raised have now been passed over to The BHF and they are very happy with the outcome of our event. For next Year we will have A BHF mascot Hearty Bear at the ready, lots more supporters and the extra knowledge of what’s involved when holding a fund raising event.

Being Human – “Peaks and Troughs” in life.

The Peaks of life were on a high when organising this walk. Our vision for local fun, love and positivity was achieved, although for me a mountain of emotion followed.

Any action brings change and over the past week I personally have been through an emotional shift in life.  I guess knowing how to work with change and recognising when adjustments are needed gave me the ability to cruise through this.

Being Suzi Buckley The Achievement Specialist / NLP guru could not possibly mean that the Impacts of Life pass me by, it simply means I’m able to work though decisions for change with ease and can allow myself the time and space to confidently move forwards.

Roger Buckley – Always in my heart and in my thoughts – I miss and Love you Dad and in raising this money we have now supported the BHF nurses to spend time with 20 other heart patients checking their medication and monitoring their progress in their own homes.
